It’s 5 years since my very cloase friend Sam Prebble passed away. I still remember the moment I received that absurd phone call on the morning of October 24th 2014 as is it was yesterday. Sam was a formidable musician and song writer as well as a top guy and his passing has been a huge blow to everyone who knew him.
To remember him the way we know how; a bunch of friends and I are getting together to play some music. On November 3rd at the Wine Cellar in Auckland, Song for Sam 2 will kick off with doors at 6:00pm.
It is a ticketed event, which was necessary for capacity control, but all proceeds go to our friends at MusicHelps so they can continue supporting musicians. Tickets can be purchased here https://www.undertheradar.co.nz/gig/68104/Song-To-Sam.utr
There will be plenty of music of course, but also time to hang out and catch up with people. Music starts at 7:00pm.
